Expect a lot of odds and ends. This website is a shoebox of sorts.

We're not very attached to this idea of being an "I," except for legal purposes.

Guiding Principles

This website is approximately PG-13.

Wait, what about the webmaster(s)?

Call us Sagitta. Use whatever pronouns you see fit, but try not to be boring. Usually we're thinking of Sagitta the constellation in regards to our name, if that helps you with translating.

Questions

Questions we're asking, deep and mundane and otherwise.

Colophon

Unless otherwise stated, all the words on this site were written by me, Sagitta. You are free to do whatever you want with them provided you follow the terms of the CC BY-NC 4.0 license. In layman's terms, the restrictions are that you have to credit me (a link back to the site is fine) and you can't use it commercially, unless an exception like fair use or fair dealing applies.

I made this using...

This code of this site is hand-coded in VSCodium and processed into its final form with Eleventy. It's hosted on NeoCities. The words are written in English, although I do have aspirations of Spanish. The color palette is derived from Catpuccin.

Images, code, quotes, etc. created by others should be credited in the immediate vicinity of where they are used.

This site should be reasonable for...

It should also be reasonable if you use a screenreader, since my layout is dead simple and I try to make appropriate use of semantic HTML, but I haven't tested it and don't want to make promises.

AI

"AI" as in artificial intelligence could refer to the BIOS that starts my laptop or the multifarious algorithms Google uses to track me or the various tools I emply to block those trackers. "Artificial intelligence" could even be argued to apply to buildings, with their complex systems of ventilation, heating, lighting, etc. that, come together "intelligently" create an environment comofortable to humans.

"AI" doesn't refer to any one technology; rather, it's a monikor we give to whatever a computer can do that we feel to be magical. It's an adjective, not a noun. I think that that fact renders a lot of coversation about AI rather difficult, as grifters have sought to create the illusion of AI-as-noun.

Okay, okay, I'll quit with the philosophy; if something here was created by or with something not found in this Homo sapiens (taps top of own head), it'll be noted. So if something was made with a large language or diffusion or whatever model, we'll cite it. Don't hold your breath, though.
